The All Horse Source Difference

All Horse Source is a different kind of online community for equine professionals and enthusiasts.  What makes us different? All Horse Source was designed BY horse people FOR horse people.

This web site is not managed by a large company.  It is not overseen by a group of programmers who also maintain websites for dozens of other interest groups.  It is not run by marketing professionals who want to make a profit selling high priced banner advertisements and monthy photo classified ads to its users.

So who is behind the All Horse Source web site?

All Horse Source is run by to horse hobbyists--Adam and Meghan.

Adam and Meghan created All Horse Source in July of 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a comprehensive online directory and community geared toward horse lovers. 

"I found it frustrating that a lot of equine professionals don't advertise," Meghan said.  "Chances are you're not going to find a large selection of boarding facilities and farriers listed in the local Yellow Pages.  And word of mouth only works if you have a network of friends that are passionate about horses.  What if your job transfers you to a new city or state?  How do you find a boarding facility for your horse?  Or a new veterinarian and farrier?  It's not easy!"

"But meeting and networking with other horse people should be easy, especially when the internet allows us to connect with people from all over the world with a simple click of the mouse," Adam explained.

Both Adam and Meghan are aware that there are other online directories and communities out there for horse lovers, but they strive to make All Horse Source different.

"We work hard to keep our directory up-to-date," Meghan explained. "We are constantly adding new information to all directory categories, and diligently check our current listings to insure they're still accurate.  We don't think people should have to spend hours searching online for the equine related professionals or services they need.  They shouldn't have to bounce from one directory to another, only to find dead links and outdated information.  We want to be a one-stop shop, so to speak."

"As for our forums," Adam added, "we want to become a place where people feel comfortable speaking their mind and having some fun.  We're not here to ban people for having a bad day or asking the "wrong" question.   As long as there's respect for everyone here, we're happy!"

"We really want people to come here and have fun.  That's all we really want," Meghan said.

Adam and Meghan stress that they are always open to new ideas and suggestions, and encourage visitors to the All Horse Source web site and members of the All Horse Source community to share their thoughts and ideas.

We also offer web design services.  Our goal is to make quality web design affordable and accessible to all.  If your business, club or organization doesn't have a web site we can help.  If your business club or organization has a web site but it's out-dated or less than professional we can help with that too.
